Mhata Nansi was a resident of Jodhpur. It was contemporary of Jawaharpura Jasvant Singh (first) of Jodhpur. His father, Jaimal, had also worked on higher posts in the state. Nansi worked on the post of Deewan of the state of Jodhpur and participated in many wars, he had great interest in history.
It is famous by the name of the famous 'Nainasi Ki Khat' written by it. Apart from Colonel Tad, all the historians here have used it in some form. The usefulness of the identity and the importance of it is revealed only by this fact that Gaurishankar Ojha has written praising it, that if it had become available to the colonel, then his 'Rajasthan' would have been different. This book was published in two parts by Ramnarayana Dugar (Hindi translation) and was published in the year 1982 by the Kashi Nagari Prachadi Sabha. In the original Rajasthani, this book was edited by Badri Prasad Sakaria and published from Rajasthan Oriental Vidya Pratishthan, Jodhpur, in four parts to complete and 967. In this well known history of Rajasthan, the history of the dynasties of all the kings has been written by Nansi. In it, the history of Sisodio, Rathore and Bhatis has been written with more detail. After giving the genealogy of the first dynasty, the achievements of each ruler are taken under the heading 'Talk' such as 'talk Rao Jodha Ri' etc. Mohanot Nanshi was alive till 1727, so the events mentioned in the Khatak from the beginning of the 18th century are mentioned. In this, the genealogy and the cultures till the 13th century can not be said so authentic, but subsequent incidents and incidents are believed to be reliable.
