Michael Dixon Bhasera

Michael Dixon Bhasera received priest ordination on 19 August 1978.
Pope John Paul II appointed him on 17 June 1991 as the first bishop of the diocese of Gokwe, which was established on the same date. Bishop of Gweru, Francis Xavier Mugadzi, gave him the bishops' ordination on 19 October of that year; Co-conspirators were Archbishop Giacinto Berloco, Apostolic Pro-Nuncio in Zimbabwe, and Ignacio Prieto Vega IEME, Bishop of Hwange.
On 9 February 1999, the Pope appointed him the first bishop of the Masvingo diocese. From April 28, 2012 to June 15, 2013, he was an apostolic administrator of Gweru during the Sedisvakanz. Weblinks Edit sourcetext
