His four brothers sisters, Chatur Singh, Bhagwan Singh, Vikram Singh, Kamla Devi were the fewest in the Hansa family. After getting primary education from Bhatkot, he passed the examination from class 7 to 12 in Rajkumar Intermediate Inter College. After that he passed BA examination from Rasna College. In the circle athletics, he got the title of Kumu Champion by getting first position in the shoot, and the spear throw competition, and participated in the National Competition by receiving silver medal in "Gola throw" in state level competition in Roorkee.
