Rai Krishnadas
Rai Krishnadas (born November 13, 1892, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh; died- 1985) was a Hindi story writer and prose lyricist. He had founded the Bharat Kal Bhawan, which was given to Kashi Hindu University in the year 1950. Roy Krishnas was awarded the 'Literary Visionary Award' and the title of 'Padma Vibhushan' by the Indian government.

Among the important works of Rai Krishnadas are 'Sadhna' story collection (1919 AD), 'Anaqa' (1929 AD), 'Sudhanshu' (1929 AD) is the main. 'Pragal' is a collection of prose songs, which was published in 1929 AD. Indian painting and sculpture are written by Western scholars alike, but with special interest and analysis in Hindi, Rai Krishnadas's books have helped to make Hindi literature comprehensive.
