Evangelical Foundation Augusta

The Evangelische Stiftung Augusta is a foundation based in Bochum. Its purpose is the "promotion of education in health care, religion, public health, as well as care for the elderly and nurses". It is the carrier of three clinics and various connected facilities. It was recognized on 18 December 2003. Ulrich Froese, who is also the managing director of the three hospitals, is the chairman of the board. The foundation is named after Augusta of Saxony-Weimar-Eisenach.
