Ann Helen Grande


Ann Helen Grande (born 20 September 1977 in Trondheim) is a former Norwegian biathlete.

Ann Helen Grande made her international debut at the Junior World Championships in Forni Avoltri in 1997. Together with Linda Grubben and Gro Maritistad-Kristiansen, she won the gold medal. The following year, she started in Pokljuka for the first time in the Biathlon World Cup and was immediately tenth in a single. In the first race she took her best place. In Anterselva she was six years later with the sixth season. In 2001, she competed for the first time in Haute Maurienne at the European Championships and achieved an eleventh place in the pursuit as the best place. At the end of the season, Grande was in Jericho 15th in the Sprint. Since 2002, she has been increasingly active in the European Cup, winning two races and taking the podium in another ten races. In 2003 Grande reached the best result with the season as fourth place. In Chanty-Mansiysk, she joined her only biathlon world championships in the same year.
