Mochiru Hoshisato (jap. Hoshisato Mochiru; Michiru Michiru Hoshisato Mochiru; * 1. Januar 1961 in Kitakyūshū, Fukuoka, Japan) ist ein japanischer Manga-Zeichner.

His first manga for a publisher was Hochisato in 1986 with Kiken ga walking. This was published by Tokuma Shoten-Verlag. There he published until the beginning of the 1990er more manga for the Manga magazines Petit Apple Pie and Shōnen Captain. At the end of 1990, he moved to the Shogakukan publishing house, where he recorded his first successes for various magazines. His most famous manga is Living Game.

Hochisato is regarded as one of the most important comic strips of romantic comedies for adult men in Japan. His works usually do not include eroticism; he convinces his fans more by character. Hochisato's drawings are mostly simple and display a lot of screen-film, especially in romantic moments.
