Latvian Pharmaceutical Museum


The Latvian Pharmaceutical Museum (Latvian: Farmācijas muzejs) is a medical museum in Riga, Latvia. It was founded in 1987 in association with the Pauls Stradiņš Museum for the History of Medicine and is housed in an 18th century building which itself is an architectural monument. The museum is dedicated to understanding the development of pharmacy and pharmacies in Latvia and contains documents and books of pharmaceutical tools from the 17th to the 19th century and devices for the preparation of drugs and medicines that were produced in Latvia between 1920 and 1930.
