Hemadipant


Hemadri Pandit was the Prime Minister of Yadav Raja Mahadev (1259 - 1271) and King Ramchandra (1271 - 1309) of Devgiri. He was a skilled administrator, architect, poet and a spiritualist. In the prime ministeriality of the Himalayas, the sun of Yadavkulam was at its peak.

Hemadipant born in the thirteenth century Smarath Rigvedi, Vatsa Gotri, Shakalashkshi, Karahad Brahmin family, a small village of Karmad of southern Kannada, Hemadipant was brought to Maharashtra by his father Kamadeo at a very young age.

Hemadipant wrote many religious books, including Chaturghand Chintamani which contains thousands of vows and descriptions of their doctrine. In relation to medicine he wrote Ayurvedic mystery book which has been written about thousands of diseases and their diagnosis. He also wrote a history book named 'Hemadpanti Bakhar'. Hemadipant also wrote a book to bring uniformity in governance and political work, in which the process of daily activities of Raj-kage has been decided in detail.

Hemadipant made the modi script the official correspondence language. Gondeshwar Temple (Sinnar, District: Nashik), Tuljabhavani Temple (Tuljapur, District: Solapur) and Aunda Nagnath's Jyotirlinga Temple (Amardakpur, Aundha-Nagnath, District: Hingoli, Maharashtra) and Amruteshwar Temple (Ratangad, Bhandardara, Taluka: Akole, District: Ahmednagar) is built with Hemadpanthi architectures which Hemadpant had created.

Hemadipant gave great encouragement to the millet plant in India, which is ready in Kannada, Kambu in Tamil, Sajaru in Telugu, Bajri in Marathi and Urdu, Punjabi or Bajra in Hindi. Hemadipant also contributed a lot in promoting and worshiping Mahalaxmi in Maharashtra.
