Sega System C-2

The Sega System C-2 is a JAMMA printed circuit board used in arcade games. This hardware is based mainly on the hardware of the Sega Mega Drive, being the main CPU, the sound processor and the graphics processor being the same. The CPU clock is a bit faster than the previous ones (10 MHz instead of 8 MHz), there is no Z80, and the sound chip was driven by the CPU. The digital-to-analog converter is replaced by an UPD7759, the same as the Sega System 16. There are 17 games released for the System C-2. characteristics
