Manoharthana is a town in Jhalawad district located in the south east of Rajasthan. It is located just a distance from the Rajasthan-Madhya Pradesh border and the Madhya Pradesh border is 12 km from the town. Manohar Thana is the Gram Panchayat and Panchayat Samiti, Tehsil Manohar Station. This village is surrounded by rivers and three rivers. From the two sides, it encircles the Ghodapchad river coming from Madhya Pradesh (here it is also known as the Kalikhad river) and from one to the Parwan river. Kalikhada is found outside the village on the Parwan river, which is called Sangam site.
There is a parakata around the village which was built in ancient times by the king named Manohar Bhil. Even today in the fort, the dormant rooms, baths, etc. of Rajas can be seen.
A few years ago there used to be dense forests around but now all the bites are gone.
This town is the center of business for around 50 villages nearby. Agricultural Produce Market is also where the tenants come to sell their produce.
Point of view
The ancient fort, Mahadev Dham situated on the river bank, Kalimkhal Balaji, a Hanuman temple situated on a short distance away.
In addition to this, there is a famous temple of Kamakhheda Balaji, about 22 km away, where every fair falls on Tuesdays and comes from far and wide. It is located on the Aklera-Manoharthana route.

To arrive from Rajasthan: A different route arises from Aklera to Manohar police station, about 370 km from Jaipur on Jaipur-Jabalpur National Highway 12 (NH 12). Regular bus services are available from Kota and Jhalawad.
On behalf of Madhya Pradesh: On the Agra-Mumbai National Highway 3 (NH3), the route goes from Beanaganj town. Regular buses are available for Beananjanj from Indore, Bhopal and Guna. Private jeeps and taxis have to be taken from Beanganj. There is also a railway line at Beanaganj, the name of the station is Chanchoda-Benaganj (Station code CBK). Where to stay

The town is the center of business for many villages around. The main crops in the area are soybean, mustard, coriander, gram, corn, wheat etc. which are sold in Manoharathan Agricultural Produce Market. There is a hot market every Sunday. Once a year, a fair is held on the occasion of Mahashivaratri, which runs for about a month and is the center of special attraction.
