Mandakini river is a tributary of the river Alaknanda. The origin of this river is near Kedarnath in Uttarakhand. The source of Mandakini is the Charabadi glacier near Kedarnath. In Sonprayag, this river is waterborne by the river Vasukiganga. Mudakini river in Rudraprayag is found in the river Alaknanda. After that, the Alaknanda river flows from there towards Devprayag, where the river meets river Bhagirathi and forms the Ganges River.
