French Sign Language

The French sign language, French Langue des signes française (SPF) is a natural gesture language.

The LSF is the natural language of most deaf people in France. In French-speaking Switzerland, a regional dialect is spoken, the Langue des signes Suisse romande (LSF-SR).

The LSF is also the mother of several other sign languages, including the Austrian Sign Language or the American Sign Language (ASL), since the sign language has been promoted for the first time in France ( History of Sign Language and French Sign Language) / p>

The Langue des signes belge and the Langue des signes québécoise differ from the LSF. Edit source text
