UDRP

The Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) is a process established by ICANN for the resolution of disputes related to the registration of Internet domains. The UDRP currently applies to private-level domains, and some geographic top-level domains.

When a registrant chooses a domain name, it must ensure and ensure, inter alia, that the registration of that domain name will not infringe or violate the rights of a third party and does not agree to participate in an arbitration process in case a third party files a claim.
