EPSO (European Personnel Selection Office), office for the recruitment of officials for the different institutions and bodies of the European Union.

Created on 26 July 2002 and running from 1 January 2003, EPSO is responsible for organizing general competitions for staff selection.

The tests are different in each contest. However most contain:

A pre-selection stage comprising multiple-choice questions, a set of written tests and sometimes an oral exam.

Generally, the duration of each contest is 12 months. It is necessary to master at least two EU languages ​​in addition to the mother tongue. For most of the vacancies a university diploma is necessary, although there are also jobs that do not require such a title.
