Reiki
This article is about the energy therapy. For the Japanese era name, see Reiki (era). For the use of the homophone "raki", see raki It is suggested that this article or part be merged with Reiki therapy. (Talks) Reiki treatment is underway
Reiki (霊 気 or レ イ キ, IPA: / reɪkiː /) is a spiritual action developed by Mikao Usui in 1926. After fasting and meditation for three weeks in Japan's Mount Curaama, Usui claimed to have the ability to "treat without losing energy." Treatment done by a part of this verb, tenohira or palm, Complementary and alternative treatments are used as complementary and alternative medicine (CAM). Tenohira is a technique in which the physician believes that they send "healing energy" (a form of ki) through the palms through palms.
There is no scientific evidence for the existence of ki or its implementation process, and a procedural review of randomized clinical trials conducted in 2008 did not support the recommendation of Reiki or any use during its treatment during treatment. Template: Energy therapy
History See reiki in Wiktionary. Derivation of the name
"Mysterious environment, spiritual power" Reiki 霊 気 is a Japanese word quoted by the Lingki 靈氣 of Chinese language, according to some Chinese-English dictionaries, it means: "The spiritual influence of beautiful mountains and the environment" ; "① intellect; ② power; understanding power; supernatural power or strength present in fairy tales; miraculous power or strength;;" ① (mountains / etc.) spiritual effect ② cleverness, cleverness. This Japanese compound is two different single words, Ray 霊 "ghost, divine, soul, supernatural, divine, poetic body" and 気 "gas, air; breathing; energy; strength; environment; mood; intention; spirit; meditation" The meaning is made by "qi" with spiritual energy; important energy; life energy; energy of life. "Some of the recipe translations of Reiki in Japanese-English dictionaries are:" Experience of mystery "," the secrets of the mysterious environment Being possible "), and 'a poetic atmosphere (which is present in the holy premises of a temple); presence of any (divine) soul (experience, feeling)."
The English word reiki or Reiki is the transliteration of the original Japanese word. The word Reiki is used in terms of grammar, noun ("imaginary energy" or "a healing method based on it"), verb or adjective. Some western authors translate Reiki lightly and call them worldly life energy. Translation is partly incorrect by this tuka: It means "life energy" - but Ray does not mean "worldly".
The origin
In 1922, Mikao Usui (臼 井 瓮 男) worshiped Mount Kurama for 21 days, during which he meditated, fasted and prayed, the creation of Reiki. Usui said that for the revelation of the secret which we call Reiki, he had acquired the necessary knowledge and spiritual power to apply to others and make them friendly.
In April of 1922, Usui went to Tokyo and founded the Usui Reiki Ryoho Gakkai (Usui Reiki Treatment Society) there.
Usui was a fan of the literary works of Emperor Meiji and in the process of developing his Reiki system, he adapted some of the emperor's literary works as policy principles, which later became known as Reiki's theories. ("Gokai" in Japanese) many teachers of Reiki and its practitioners aim to follow these five principles, the translation of one of these is the following:
"A secret way of calling good luck. Best Medicine of All Diseases Just for today: Do not get angry do not worry Be grateful Work with loyalty Be kind to others. Every morning and every night, sit in the Gasho situation [adding the palms of both hands in the Namaskar mudra] and accentuate these words in your heart in a loud voice. For the development of body and soul, Usui Reiki Rooho "- Mikao Usui, founder.
Usui taught more than 2000 disciples to use Reiki. Sixteen of those disciples continued their training until they reached Shinpiden level, this level equals third degree, or postgraduate level in Western countries.
Usui's death took place in 1926.
early development
After Usui's death, a former disciple of Usui named Chujiro Haasai, left Usui Reiki Ryoho Gakai and formed a separate organization. Hayashi stressed on physical remedies and made more codes of Reiki techniques and simplified Reiki lessons using simple group.
Hayashi started and trained Hawayo Takata, who practiced Reiki Kriya and taught others the first two levels, roaming in the United States.
Takata stressed the importance of charging for Reiki's treatment and teaching. In 1976, Takata started teaching Shinpiden Stage and named it this Reiki Master for the first time. He also fixed the value of $ 10000 for master training.
Takata died in 1980. Till then, he had trained 22 Reiki masters. As far as Reiki was taught outside Japan, most of it is credited for its work.
Reiki's systems
Today, many Reiki systems exist, but the number of major systems is only 2, which are respectively known as traditional Japanese Reiki and Western Reiki.
Traditional Japanese Reiki
Traditional Japanese Reiki term is commonly used to describe only the special system that was produced by Usui's teachings and whose spread did not come out of Japan. In the mid-1990s, some western teachers went on a trip to Japan to discover this special system of Reiki, although they could not find anything there. Therefore, they established Reiki schools and started teaching Reiki to the Japanese. Soon after this, the Japanese who were practicing Reiki Kriya and who had kept this secret a secret, came to the world and started spreading their knowledge. Since then, many traditional Japanese Reiki systems have come into existence, some of these major systems are listed below.
Usui Reiki Ryoho Gakai is the name of the society of teachers who established their own Usui. This style is left to the modern times due to the upheaval because the only one who was the incision, who at the time of his death had made Usui the successor of the president of the association. This society was making a secret for many years and currently, Masaki Kondoh is a teacher of Gakai. Many of his teachings are still a mystery, although today a little bit, the members of this union are sharing their knowledge with the rest of the world, these members have a name, Master Hiroshi Doi. Despite all of this, this society remains a closed society even today, as far as accessibility is concerned.
The name Redo Reiki Gakai is given to a system created by the masters of Gakki and its leadership is doing Phuminori Aoki. Fuminii Aoki added her words in the education of Gokki, although the difference in teaching is very small. In this system, the iconic symbolism inspired by the feminie ooki was assimilated.
Komyo Reiki Kai was given the name given to the system which has taken the name of a Japanese traditional Reiki school and which was established by the Akakuten Inamoto (稲 本 百 天) Sensei. It is different from other systems in such a way that its origin was not from Gokki, but it was from the Kyoto Yagamuchi (山口 千代 子) by the Hayashi lineage which was still in Japan. It includes more knowledge and specific skills, as well as Usui's original symbols include Zui-inn, Fukuyu, Hona-za-Shonen and Dai-ko-moo. At present, Hakukuten Inamoto Sensei, the successor of Mikao Usui, is considered as his spiritual growth level is quite high.
The name of Zikiden Reiki was given to the system which is similar to the Komio Reiki Kai and was developed by Tadao Yamaguchi (山口 忠 夫), the son of Ms. Yamaguchi.
Western reiki
Western Reiki, or Occidental Reiki, is a system developed by Ms Airy Takata. This system spread to air from California and then it spread to other Western countries. As a result of World War II, Mrs. Takata decided to make such modifications in the system, which would make the system more easy and reliable to understand the mindset of the Western countries. As with traditional Japanese Reiki, many different systems came into existence from the style of Mrs. Takata, the main systems of them are listed below.
Reiki Usui Shiki is the name given to Ryooho's Western system of Reiki, which means "the system of natural remedies," and it is a system that has sincerely tried to maintain the basic functions of airy Takata. It is a basic system established by Mrs Takata and is still trained as it is with Reiki Alliance, led by Mrs. Takata's granddaughter, Filias Lee Furumoto. Just like Reiki is in most western systems, the level also exists in this system, the number of these levels in the system is three, their names are respectively, in the first degree, second degree and master. In this system, we have used four fundamental symbols, although these symbols are Takata version, their names are Cho-ku Re, Se-ha-Kai, Han-sha-ze-Shō-Nan, and Dai-ku-Myo Usui. / p>
Tibetan Reiki is the name given to that system, which William L. Rand was developed by an American gentleman. This is another system based on Takata's teachings, although there are more symbols in this system, and Rand added mental philosophy of mental surgery in this system - and it happened in such a system, it was the first time. This name is quoted in the system only with two Tibetan symbols and some Buddhist teachings, however, instead of three levels of Reiki Usui Shiki Royoho it has four levels, which are respectively called the first degree, second degree, third degree and master. There are seven symbols present in this system (although in the later versions of the system, this number is nine). Everything else is similar to Western Reiki, though it has the following additional symbols; Tibetan dai-ko-miyo, raku, fire snake, fire dragon and tomo.
Apart from this, there are also independent teachers and small organizations who, like the need for the spread of Reiki, propagate it and thus the system of Takata continues, these teachers are still free from the restrictions which are related to Reiki Organizations remain tied. For some years, some schools in Reiki had a dispute over their successor, the dispute was that every of these schools used to say that they are the real descendants of Reiki, and the rest of the claims are concocted, though it is considered to be at most places That Reiki's global action can not be a monopoly of a school.
Jendai Reiki Ho has given the name to the system that is a mixture of the above two systems. Since Hiroshi Doi was already skillful in many of the healing skills and was the first disciple trained by Ms. Meiko Mitsui, who was a master of "Tejaswati technique", so he established this system. The membership of Usui Reiki Ryoho Gakai was granted in 1993. This system describes traditional Japanese Reiki and Western systems as complementary to each other, but essentially it is still a Western Reiki, because Doi Sensei does not have the appropriate competence of a traditional Japanese master.
In Traditional Japanese Reiki and Occidental Reiki, theoretically the differences exist, for example the currency of hands during Reiki Kriya; The currency of the hands of Hayashi Sensei and Ms. Takata in Western Reiki occupies a special place, these currencies of the hands have no existence in the traditional Japanese Reiki to implement the whole treatments. Instead, the session of treatment in traditional Japanese Reiki starts with Reiki-Ho, which is such a skill that "it is known where to place hands." In addition, in traditional Japanese Reiki, light massages, fatigue and light picks are killed in certain areas of the body, as well as the movement of the hands is used only to treat hard diseases.
On the contrary, the hold of traditional Japanese Reiki allows for improving the phases of energy, personal development and light in the spiritual transformation, as regards Gasho Meditation and respiratory techniques. On the other hand, western traditions of Reiki give more emphasis on the treatment of diseases. Apart from this, while on the other hand, in the traditional Japanese Reiki, on the other hand, this ladder of progress is gradually increased gradually and gradually climbing the stairs, while completing the courses in Western style and completing courses, and on the other hand, This decision is taken by Reiki Master, which will be the appropriate time to get the next adjustment.
Other systems
At present, some teachers in Western Reiki have developed their own systems from information and symbols, and while using symbols, have used the hand movements that are trained in Reiki or in the form of work Is given.
Some of the Western systems have been established in the last few years and they are not descendants of Mikao Usui systems. These systems include Karuna Reiki, Sechim or SKHM, Reiki Satori, Rainbow Reiki, Saltic Reiki, Kundalini Reiki, Karuna Kai, Reiki of Ninth Kai, Bioreki, Shambala Reiki, Tera Mai Reiki and Tibetan-Tantric Reiki.
Interestingly, most of the above mentioned systems claim to use better energy than Reiki Usui and use more powerful symbols. It is important to keep in mind that among all the masters who develop Reiki systems, only Mikao Usui is the only known name which is believed to have reached the Saturni (luminous) state. He created a free system of ego, spiritual development and treatment, a simple system, which has an array of extremely useful tools, as well as a philosophy based on love and respect.
The following are the five systems of comprehensive and globally recognized systems of Reiki's above all systems; Below is the description of the three other widely recognized from Usui Reiki Ryoho Gakai (Traditional Japanese Usui), Tibetan Reiki, Karuna Reiki, Reiki Seichim-Sekhem and Como Reiki and these other systems.
करुणा रेकी
Karuna is a Sanskrit word used in Hindu, Tibetan Buddhist and Zain Buddhist religions, and it means any kind of compassion-sympathetic work. This system was established in the United States by Catherine Miller and it is known today as "Tera Mai". This system was introduced to Spain by Antonio Moraga in 1995, after he researched in India, incorporated other symbols and techniques into it and in this way compassion-nature (Karuna was born in Spain by Antonio Moraga in Spain, Spain In 1995, which after its research in India, included other symbols and techniques, thus making the fund-nature Karunanidhi (compassion means 'compassion' and without form The nature energy has become cosmic or God.) In this system there are nature-Karuna Reiki symbols which have been phased out for various Reiki masters at different times. His system has stepped up the beginnings and developed it by Antonio Moraga. And has a unique value of 21 new symbols of power, which is connected with the Usui system and the Jupani-Tibetan Tantric Can be found.
Part of the energy energy was given by the symbol Swami Prem Anand, who, in return, entrusted them to Master Kiram, who entrusted them to Antonio Moraga.
The symbols of compassion-nature, in addition to the mysterious treatments due to its intense energy, love and friendship, increase in self-esteem, restoring emotional balance, relinquishing karma, increasing awareness and purity, making chakras uniform Providing clarity about our existence, and also creating peace and creating absolute peace, such qualities have also been developed.
तिब्बती-तांत्रिक रेकी
Tibetan-Tantric Reiki, also called Tibetan Reiki, is a system that contains 11 symbols of power. According to the teachings, the use of these symbols can be diagnosed by those diseases which are due to the actions. Some of these claims have been claimed to diagnose cancer and AIDS and claims have been made to re-establish conformity between different parts and levels of Caitanya. Four of these symbols have been named "Tibetan symbol" and the other seven symbols have been called "Tantric symbols". According to education, these symbols came from the teachings of a secret successive incarnation of Shakyamuni Buddha named Padmasambhava (Guru Rinpoche), they introduced Tibet's Buddhist religion. The object of symbolism and Tibetan Tantric is to give the seeker the vital power and to awaken his Kundalini Shakti. These symbols also work on the chakras.
रेकी सेखेम-सेचिम
Reiki Sekhem-Sechim (pronounced "sakim" and abbreviated "SKHM") is cited by the word Sekhem of Egypt, which means "the power of powers". It was founded by Patrick Ziegler. SKHM represents the method in which Patrick today refers to his work with energy.
In 1979, Patrick Ziegler entered the rapid energy of SKHM in the Pythagons of the Shoops, and after that he received education with Sheikh Mohammed Usman Brahani. In 1984, Ziegler Christine Garber, who entrusted Marat, a 2500-year-old soul, as well as Master Sachem, who handed over the information, to start with Zelger Sechem Reiki. Mr. Zelger taught Seymit Reiki to Tom Seaman in 1984, which is today a major contributor to the expansion of this system. In 1985, Phoenix Summerfield composed seven additional symbols and started training Seichim. Between 1985 and 1987, Summerfield started training Seichim in Australia, and this system spread to the world. In 1995, Shuemaker became Reiki's master and he got his first stage as Shechem. In 1996, Shuemaker became a Shechem master and started training Seichim Reiki. After an accidental introduction in 1997, Shuemekar started providing Sekham's second favor and created Sekhem-Sechem Reiki. Schuymaker and Marsha Burak are members of similar training and finally.
Teachings
Reiki teachings claim that an unbroken, public "life force" is the existence of spiritual energy, which can be used to influence the treatment. Those who believe in it, say that anybody can reach this energy through the adjustment process performed by Reiki Master. Claims made for such energy do not have any theoretical or biological basis.
Reiki's followers have described it as a sacramental therapy in which physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels are treated. It is believed that whenever the doctor's hands will be kept or placed near a potential recipient, which can be worn, then the energy will be transmitted through his hands. Some teachings have emphasized the importance of the doctor or his presence in this process, while others claim that the energy from the Reiki recipient's wound is taken out so that natural remedies can be activated or accelerated. Along with all this, it is also believed that energy is "intelligent", therefore it is not necessary to identify the disease.
It is said that in the second level of training, with another introduction, the doctor is prepared in such a way that he can perform Reiki remedies remotely. It has been said that this method involves the use of special symbols to create a temporary connection and send Reiki energy, between the doctor and the recipient, between the differences of place. Such techniques are also taught which can allow Reiki to be sent at a certain point in time, or in the past or in the future.
Verb Whole body treatment
In the Reiki Treatment of an entire body, the doctor asks the recipient, often lying on a massage table and resting. Usually, loose, comfortable clothes are worn during treatment. It may take a moment for the physician to take his mind into a calm and meditative position and mentally prepare himself for treatment, and it is often done without any unnecessary conversation.
The therapist moves forward by placing his hands in the different currencies on the recipient. However, the physician may use such tactile techniques, where hands are kept for some or all of the places, few centimeters away from the recipient's body. Before moving hands to the next position, it is kept constant from 3 to 5 minutes. In totality, the place of the hand is usually the head, front forearm and often back to the knees and feet. Approximately 12 to 20 places are used, with complete treatment that runs from 45 to 90 minutes.
Some doctors use a certain group of places of hand. Others use their intuition to find out where the treatment is needed, sometimes the recipients are scanned and treatment started to find such areas. Due to the method of using your intuition, treatment of different places may take very little or too much time.
It has been reported that despite the use of a touchless method, the recipient often feels heat or tickling at the place where treatment is being done. Immediately after the treatment, these effects are most commonly felt to feel like recovering with complete rest conditions, although it can also lead to emotional release. As Reiki treatment is called stimulating natural remedies, it is not usually seen immediately after treatment of specific health problems. If a chronic disease is being treated, then a series of three or more treatments is recommended for them, in which between 1 to 7 days there is a break in these treatments. Regular treatments running continuously for the purpose of maintaining good health can be used. The interval between such treatments lasts especially between 1 to 4 weeks, this gap is not only in the situation when the self is being treated and when daily action is normal.
Treatment of special area
In special area Reiki treatments, the doctor includes keeping his hands in the specific area of the body or near it. Fresh wounds are often treated like this, and hands are placed in the spot of a wound. Duration of such treatments is quite different, although a 20-minute period can be common.
Some therapists use certain specialty therapies for certain diseases, and some publications have tabulated the appropriate places of hand. However, other practitioners prefer to treat the entire body for all chronic diseases, the basis is that its effect is more sacred. Another way is to treat special areas after treatment of the whole body.
Training
Reiki training outside Japan is usually divided into three levels, or degrees.
first degree
The basic principles and procedures are taught in the first degree of Reiki courses. The teacher has given four "attunements" to the student under which the disciples are taught about places to keep hands on the recipient's body, which is considered to be the best of the whole body treatment process. After completing the first degree, its participants can treat themselves and others through Reiki. Traditionally, this course is of four sessions, which are often presented for 2,3 or 4 consecutive days.
Second degree
In the second degree course of Reiki, the disciples are taught to use the three symbols which they believe are strengthened and increase the distance from which the effect can be emphasized. Another adjustment is given to the disciple, which is said to make it increase in the ability of Reiki to communicate through the disciple, and he becomes capable of using symbols as well. After crossing the second level, the disciple can do his job even when he is not physically present to the recipient.
Third degree or master training
Through the third degree or "master training" the student becomes a Reiki Master. (In Reiki's terminology, the term "master" does not mean spiritual enlightenment.) One or more adjustments are made and the disciple learns Dai to be a next master-level icon named Mayo. After completing master training, the new Reiki Master can accommodate other people with Reiki and teach three degrees of Reiki. Depending on the duration of master training, the school of Reiki and the philosophy of Reiki Master who is imparting this training, anything can happen from one day to one year or more. Differences
Training methods, motions and costs vary greatly. Neither Reiki has any official organization nor is there any rule of this verse. Reiki courses can also be taken over the internet, although traditionalists believe that adjustments should be made individually for effectiveness, because the teacher / teacher who adjusts Reiki must be able to touch the energy sector of the adjustable person it happens. Some conservatives believe that every method that teaches Reiki "quick" can not leave that much impact, because there is no substitute for experience and patient mastery of this art.
Scientific research
Scientific studies of Reiki get complicated by the fact that to make a placebo-controlled study, placebo is necessary to make it look like a treatment in every way.
The largest research done in 2008 has failed to show Reiki as an effective treatment in all situations. This systematic review evaluated this evidence base and found nine studies that would meet their election criteria. Considering the difficulty of the blinded physicians, a revised jadad score of instrumental quality was used. The studies which were not random were excluded from the study, because such studies are more likely to deliberately or unknowingly prejudice, which makes it impossible to analyze the results. Overall, the desire for quality of evidence was felt, because high-level studies also failed to completely control placebo effects, and in most studies, methods like "insufficient design and non-statistical reporting for small sample sampling Errors "were found. The tests of such errors are more likely to appear to be effective treatment, so there is insufficient evidence to indicate that Reiki is effective as a self-reliant or auxiliary therapy for each medical condition, or beyond the potential placebo effects. There are also benefits.
Safety and impact मुख्य लेख : Alternative medicine#Testing of safety
Concerns about security in Reiki are similar to other non-certified alternative drugs. Medical doctors and allied health workers believe that patients can stay away from official certified treatment in favor of non-certified alternative medicines in severe circumstances. Reiki doctors can encourage their clients to meet a medical doctor in severe cases saying that Reiki can be used as a traditional complementary medicine. In clinical trials, no significant adverse effects have been reported from the use of Reiki.
The National Council Against Counterfeit in the name of health National Council Against Health Fraud has suggested that every clinical effect of Reiki may be due to suggestion, and Reiki is given a "fair-good" treatment name To be given, so that the recipients themselves do not expect any significant treatment effect.
Internal dispute
Because there are many different ways to teach Reiki, so there are emerging points of controversy among different groups, teachers and practitioners. Controversies exist on topics such as the nature of Reiki energy, the fees charged for courses and treatments, training methods, privacy and adjusting methods of symbols.
From the death of Hawayo Takata until the mid-1990s, there were conflicting claims about who created the term "Grandmaster" by Reiki. However, when it was found that Takata had composed this word on its own, then the dispute ended to a great extent.
Concerns of the Catholic Church
In March 2009, a committee formed on the principle of the United States Conferences of Catholic Bishops issued an order (Guide to Evaluating Reiki as an Alternative Treatment, March 25, 2009), under which Reiki Karen by Catholics It was banned, in some Catholic single centers and hospitals to stop the use of Reiki treatment. In the conclusion of the order it was said, "Since Reiki's treatment is neither compatible with Christian teachings nor has any scientific evidence available to it, such as Catholic institutions such as Catholic health care facilities and individual centers, or individuals representing the Church such as Catholics It is not appropriate for priests to promote or support Reiki treatment. "
