Operation Tassergal is a joint operation to combat illegal fishing off Guyana. It took place in 2007.
It aimed, through the action of the marine commandos, the Gendarmerie, and the helicopters of the Army, to fight against fishermen from Surinam and Brazil and fishing illegally in French waters. >
