Gerard Alfons Kusz (born 23 October 1939 in Oderwalde) is emeritus auxiliary bishop in Gliwice. Edit LifeQualtext The Bishop of Opole, Franciszek Jop, consecrated him to the priest on 24 June 1962.

Pope John Paul II appointed him on 8 July 1985 as auxiliary bishop in Oppeln and titular bishop of Tagarbala. The Archbishop of Warsaw and Gnesen, Józef Cardinal Glemp, donated the bishop's ordination to him on the 15th of August of that year; Co-conspirators were Henryk Roman Cardinal Gulbinowicz, Archbishop of Breslau, and Alfons Nossol, Bishop of Oppeln.

On 25 March 1992 he was appointed auxiliary bishop in Gliwice.
