Edla (Slawin)

Edla (* around 980 ?; † around 1010?) was a woman of King Olaf Skötkonung of Sweden.

There is little information about her person. She came from "Wendland", the Slavic area on the Baltic Sea and she was the mother of Emund, Astrid and Holmfrid. Their status is not clear. She was wife of King Olaf, but probably not married to him. Perhaps she died relatively quickly.
