Winston Cenac

Winston Francis Cenac, Q.C. (* 14. September 1925; † 22. September 2004) war Premierminister von Saint Lucia.

Cenac served as General Agent of Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and Grenada. In 1969 he gave up the civil service and became a lawyer. When in 1979 the Saint Lucia Labor Party gained power Cenac Attorney General in the government of Allan Fitzgerald Laurent Louisy. When Louisy resigned on May 4, 1981, Cenac became prime minister. He held this post for eight months until he also resigned through political conflicts on 17 January 1982.
