The ice hockey division of the Athletic Club de Boulogne-Billancourt was founded in 1952. The ACBB quickly became one of the most successful ice hockey teams in France. The team won the French championship in the years 1957, 1960 and 1962. Moreover, in 1958, 1959, 1961, 1963, 1964, 1965 and 1966, she became a Vizemeister. The team was also successful internationally and won the prestigious Spengler Cup in Switzerland three times in a row in 1959, 1960 and 1961.

After the 1970/71 season, the team had to retire from the highest French game class and could no longer build on the successes of the 1950s and 1960s. In the 2011/12 season, the men's team of the ACBB will play in the fourth division. Weblinks Edit sourcetext
