Trygve Reenskaug (2010)

Trygve Mikkjel Heyerdahl Reenskaug (* June 21, 1930) is a Norwegian researcher of computer science. He formulated the concept Model View Controller for software design in 1979, while working at Xerox Parc in Palo Alto.

He is involved in the research of object-oriented methods and has developed object-oriented role modeling methods and software tools as early as 1983. He founded the IT company Taskon in 1986 to develop a different software tool for object-oriented methods.

Reenskaug wrote the book Working With Objects: The OOram Software Engineering Method together with P. Wold and O. A. Lehne.
