Satpal (wrestler)


Satpal is the famous wrestling wrestler of India. He is the gold medalist of the Asian Games of 1982. Nowadays they are engaged in the training of wrestlers in Delhi. Olympian medalist Sushil Kumar too was his disciple. Satpal Pahalwan has been awarded Padmashree. Satpal is currently working on the post of Deputy Education Director in the Education Department of Delhi.

Satpal Wahlawan was born in 1955 in Bawana village of Delhi. His father Hukam Singh was also a wrestler. He himself was a disciple of Guru Hanuman. His father did not take initiative outside the village. When they were in fifth class, four or four children got beaten up. The boy came to Satpal and narrated all the incident.
