Roberto Francisco Unger Pérez is a Cuban politician who has been President of the Municipal Assembly of Isla de la Juventud. He has a degree in Marxism-Leninism and History, as well as a master's degree in science. At his graduation in 1982, he was a professor at the Pedagogical Higher Institute Carlos Manuel de Céspedes, where he worked for more than 20 years. He is a member of the Union of Historians of Cuba; member and president of the Commission of Social Sciences of the Territorial Scientific Council of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment of Cuba; member of the Scientific Council of the University Pedagogical Branch; of the Scientific Council of the Municipal History Team and Head of the Department of the University Pedagogical Branch. He has been deputy to the National Assembly of People's Power since the V and VII Legislature.
