María Esperanza Morales Mérida (Tuxpan, Veracruz, November 29, 1913-1990) Mexican teacher, founder of the first mixed school on January 22, 1929, in the oil field of Palma Sola, a town belonging to the municipality of Coatzintla in the Mexican state of Veracruz in the vicinity of the current city of Poza Rica.
