Baba Nobufusa


This is a Japanese name; the surname is {{{1}}}. Baba Nobuharu. Baba Nobuharu (Baba Nobuharu d. 1575), also known as Baba Nobufusa, was a Japanese samurai of the Sengoku Period and one of the so-called "Twenty-Four Generals" of Takeda Shingen, who were the commanders who enjoyed your greatest confidence. Baba fought in the battles of Mikatagahara and Nagashino, where he took control of the right wing of Takeda Katsuyori's attack.

When Takeda Shingen took the castle Fukashi (now Castle Matsumoto) in 1550, he left it to Baba. During the battle of Mikatagahara of 1573, he commanded the advanced during the persecution to the army of Tokugawa Ieyasu during its return to Hamamatsu Castle. When Baba saw the castle doors open, he thought he was going into a trap so he did not continue the chase. It was at the battle of Nagashino that Baba was killed in combat when two samurai attacked him simultaneously cutting off his head.
