Georgi Jordanov, actually Georgi Jordanov Momchev, (Bulgarian Георги Йорданов, 29th May 1934 in Twardiza) is a former Bulgarian politician.

In 1956 he graduated in law at the University of Sofia. In the same year he joined the Bulgarian Communist Party. From 1966 he was a candidate of the Central Committee of the Party, whose member was then from 1971 onwards. In July 1972 he became a member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee. From 1971 to 1979 he was the first secretary of the city committee Sofia of the party. In 1979 he became candidate for the political office of the Central Committee. In the same year he became Deputy Chairman of the Bulgarian Council of Ministers.

He was Bulgarian Minister of Culture from 1987 to 1989
