Rimantas Armonas

Rimantas Armonas is a cellist from Lithuania. He often gives concerts as a soloist and as a member of different chamber ensembles.

Since 1978 he has taught at the Lithuanian Academy of Music, where he has been a teacher since 2003. He has conducted cello master classes and interpretation seminars in Finland (1991 and 1992), Belarus (1994, 2003 and 2004), Latvia 1996, Academia Baltica 1997), the Netherlands (2001) and Germany and the United States (2003). He has also participated as a member of the jury of international competitions.
