Rahatgarh town is situated at a distance of 40 km away on the Sagar-Bhopal route, due to the town waterfalls, now it is a very popular picnic spot. In ancient times, it was famous for its fortified fort, ramparts, palaces and temples-mosques. In time, everything was destroyed and now there remains only the remains of the fort.
According to the Rishi Garg town on the upper edge of the river Bina, in the eleventh century the reign of Parmar was in very good condition. The outer walls of the fort, which were about 3 km away from the town, had large 26 small towers. There were 5 large doors to reach within. In the absence of battles fought here and in the absence of supervision, the glory of the fortress was buried in the black cave of the past. Local residents of Sagar go to large numbers to spend time in the rainy season on holiday. Due to lack of such sites around the city, it is a very popular place to celebrate picnics.
