Peter Handford

Peter Handford (born March 21, 1919, † November 6, 2007) was a British sound engineer.

Handford documented the "D-Day" during the Second World War for British troops when the allied troops landed in Normandy on 6 June 1944 (Operation Overlord). He later worked with Alfred Hitchcock, among others.
