Totscho
The language Totschoskiot or Totschoisch and Totcho is an endangered Cordofan language spoken in Sudan.
It belongs to the language group of Talodi-Heiban languages within the Niger-Congo language family. The number of speakers in the language is 3,800. More and more speakers are teaching Arabic alone to their children, as Arabic is enjoying a higher prestige on the part of Islamic majority society and non-Arab languages are outlawed.
