Der Prinz von Homburg is an opera in three acts with music by Hans Werner Henze and libretto by Ingeborg Bachmann, based on the drama of Heinrich von Kleist (1810) . It premiered on May 22, 1960 in Hamburg under the direction of Leopold Ludwig.
