Juan Carlos Sánchez Alonso

Juan Carlos Sánchez Alonso (Oviedo, June 17, 1961) is a Spanish diplomat, since October 2011, the Spanish ambassador to Peru.

Law degree, he entered the Diplomatic Career in 1991. He has been assigned to Spanish diplomatic representations in Venezuela and Argentina, and was Deputy Director General of Andean Community Countries. He was Director of the Cabinet of the Secretary of State for Latin America and Director General of Foreign Policy for Latin America. From July 2010 to October 2011 he was general director for Latin America.
