Navigator Dzinkambani (* 7 January 1974; † 31 August 2006) was a Malawian footballer. Sporty career Edit the source text

Dzinkambani has performed with the Big Bullets Blantyre in his native Malawi. The goalkeeper was also active in the Malawian national team for many years. With this he took part several times in the COSAFA Cup, including the first edition 1997, in which the national team occupied the last table place. In the following editions he stood in the newly created qualifying games between the posts, but a renewed participation in the finals did not succeed. Later, with Swadic Sanudi, he competed for a place in the goal of the national team, but in the end he missed the end of the 2002 World Cup finals. Also in the autumn of 2002, he was a regular force when the national team reached the final in the 2002 COSAFA Cup. Both matches against South Africa, however, were lost, with Phillip Nyasulu taking the lead in the return.

Dzinkambani died of HIV infection at the age of 32 years in the summer of 2006. Weblinks Edit sourcetext
