In 1990, Prodigy meets Havoc at school. Together they would form Mobb Deep. Due to the friendship he made with rapper Nas the style of both resembled much, example of this is the disc Illmatic (1994), As soon as they published their successful single, "Shook Ones Pt .. 2", Prodigy and Havoc released the album The Infamous. A year later, in 1996, Hell on Hearth was released, debuting at number six on SoundScan. The album features evocative rhythms and cinematic rhymes that let us see the dark side of the New York City skyline. Due to the video clip "Hell on Earth (Front Lines)" and Scarface photos (since in the booklet of the CD you could see the duo with guns and a lot of cocaine). Ergo Mobb Deep had created its own image which became a ninth-century symbol of the East Coast. After Hell on Earth, Mobb Deep would be immersed in the war between coasts that had formed in 1994 when 2Pac was shot in New York.2Pac would blame rappers like The Notorious B.I.G. and Mobb Deep of that shooting, which was the trigger of a war between coasts that would last until 1997 with the murder of The Notorious B.I.G ..
