From the island of Tenerife, it was part of the second contingent of Canarian colonization (1729) in Uruguay. Her first husband, Domingo de Chaves passed away in the Canaries and she traveled to Montevideo with her 3 minor children: Victoria, Eugenio and Luis. The following year 1730 he married for the second time in Montevideo with Juan de Morales, also a Canarian settler, with whom he had no children. On arriving, he receives as a mercy a plot of a quarter of an apple in the corner of today Cerrito and Solís streets, the Church of San Francisco is at the moment.
