In 1991, Joachim Hoof moved to Saxony to the Executive Board of the predecessors of the Ostsächsische Sparkasse Dresden. With the merger to the Ostsächsischen Sparkasse Dresden in 2004, Joachim Hoof took over the position of deputy chairman of the board of the institute.
