The Galeries Lafayette groupe groups various department store badges in the fashion, food, beauty, home, leisure and services sectors.

The company was created in 1893, when Théophile Bader created this fashion company. The opening of Galeries Lafayette Haussmann dates back to 1912. In 1933 the group opened the first Monoprix.
