This temple is the main reverence center of Shri Radha Vallabh Sampradayi Vaishnavism. The people here are descendants of Bhogh Raga, Sewa Pooja, Shri Harivansh Goswami.

This temple was constructed by Goswamis of Shri Radha Vallabh Lal, the goddess of Shri Hit Harivansh Goswami Ji, in 1584, by the beautiful Sundar Das Khajani, a resident of Deoband. They were ordered by Mr. Hrithrajrajandhamfrabhu. It is the ancient and most famous temple of Vrindavan. Shri Radha Vallabh ji sat up till it went abroad.
