Polibotes

Poseidon fighting Polibotes (attic cup, circa 475-470 BC, discovered in Vulci, Etruria).

Polybotes (Greek Πολυβώτης, Polybôtes, 'much food'), was one of the giants who participated in the rebellion against the Olympians. He had a unique combat with the god Poseidon, who chased him to the island of Cos. There the god tore a piece of the island, throwing it on its enemy, that was buried under him. That portion of land is the islet of Nisiros.

It was the giant in charge of ending Poseidon. Bibliography
