Francesc Bartrina and Aixemús (Reus, 1846- Barcelona, January 20, 1917) was a Spanish poet.
Among his poems, Tetouan, dedicated to his compatriot Juan Prim, was published in 1860. In 1860 he published La tardor, Lays del juglar, and later Les rosselletes, Set poncelletes, and Lo ramet de ginesta. Sospirs de l'arpa i The cants of the Laietà, and later the rosselletes, Set poncelletes, and The bouquet of broom. In 1864 he obtained the prize of poetry of Lérida for a poetry dedicated to the Virgin of Montserrat, in 1865 he was awarded the extraordinary prize of poetry with Ode to the Virgin of Atocha. He also wrote Intimes i quadrets.
He was the maintainer of the Floral Games in 1885, 1894 and 1910. At the end of the nineteenth century he collaborated continuously in La Ilustració Catalana, but did not publish books of poems, which he nevertheless continued to write; translated the poem Nerto de Frédéric Mistral and died in Barcelona, when he was translating to the North American writer Henry Wadsword Longfellow, on January 20, 1917.
